Albuquerque BioPark Zoo Entry Program

Reimagining the Albuquerque BioPark Zoo entrance, this project seeks to create a welcoming and streamlined point of entry to the BioPark. This project encompasses the redesign of the Zoo entry and related offices and storefronts at the Zoo entry.

Designed to smoothly accommodate both large and small groups of visitors and tourists, this gateway is spanned by a multi function canopy that provides shade, acts as a key landmark for wayfinding, and produces renewable energy through photo voltaic panels dispersed throughout the frame. The open entry is flanked by new ticketing, guest services, and gift shop buildings.
